Water under fridge

Anybody ever had water blow in the roof vent on the fridge? Occasionally we get water on the floor below the fridge. When this first happened, I checked and the 4 screws that hold the vent cap on were not sealed. Never figured out why, but the dealer apparently took that cover off while the unit was in for service last summer. Sealed those, and last rain no leak. Was very windy and raining last night, and we had the water again. I think when the weather clears, I will pull the vent cover and take a good look at the caulking around the vent where it comes through the roof. Any ideas?

Did you make sure the black drain hose is still sticking through the vent cover?
If it is inside under the frig. it will dump water everytime the unit is defrosted.

...just what I was thinking...I know it is way too simple, but when we got ours, the drain hose was nowhere in site. It was still inside under the cover. Good thing I found it before it got all the wood rotted.

Not that. Ours was tucked back under the fridge too. I put it back behind the grille when towing, but it is out now. Thanks for mentioning it anyway.
