Strongly endorse Progressive Industries' on board system. Used their 30a pedestal system on our TT and it saved that unit. On our first visit to our local weekend CG with our new 3791 RD we found a bad ground at the pedestal. On board system protected our new rig!!! No doubt!!! Everything yes everything would have been fried...and potentially our whole rig could have been electrified.

There may be some discretionary items (i.e., slide toppers, vent covers, etc.) but power protection is not one of them!!

Thanks to all of the recommendations, I just ordered one. To be honest, as a newbie, I never even thought about this much needed item!
