Digital Clock and Plaque installed.

So after some searching for something that did not look cheesy we picked a Sharp Digital clock with weather station remote. I am putting a bit of adhesive back velcro on the out side of the fifth wheel where the remote will hang. It can be removed before traveling, washing, etc.

Also a couple of years ago we stopped at a country store near the Jackson Covered Bridge in Jackson, NH. We found a stained and routed plaque there, and few other goodies. DW and I both liked it very much and bought it, forgot about it for 2 years, found it while cleaning out the Outback, and put it into the Montana, and hung it! Looks pretty good if I do say so myself!

I solid mounted my weather station remote inside one of the propane tank storage compartments. With the bottom open, there is air movement and I feel gives a better reading from say direct sun somewhere on the outside wall.

Nice work! I also mounted my remote in the propane compartment, but like you I used velcro so I can switch sides depending on which side is facing the sun.

Didn't think of the propane compartments. I think I like that better. Pin Box also. Decisions, decisions!

I sit my sensor under the slide on the frame so that it is out of the sun. I tie a red ribbon on my wheel by the sensor so that I don't drive away without removing the sensor. I tried the pin box but it gets too hot.

I put the sensor inside the pinbox where the power cord comes from and is stored. I put a piece of fluorescent pink ribbon on it to make sure I see it and remove it before hitting the road again. I have left it in there a couple of times but don't want to gamble with it bouncing out and down the road while on the road.
