Shower in 2014 3402RL
Just purchased the unit and are having issues with set up style of the shower. Handles are set up that you turn them downwards to open water flow and everytime we go to get out you hit them and the water comes back on. Also the head has very little water pressure. Has anyone replaced the shower head and faucet system. in their units. Thanks for input.

Remove the handles and point them down in the off position ... then on will be up. Others will give shower head advice. Sometimes it depends on your park pressure. If you're using one of those inline water pressure regulators, you need to go to a whole house pressure regulator ... they flow alot more.

We have a 3402rl and took the restrictor out of the head and that helps but some parks just have lame pressure but most of our parks have great pressure and our shower Kicks Butt and are really happy with it(except for the stupid slide mechanism)

I hear the Oxygenics brand shower head improves the spray (don't have one yet). Then we have rotary knobs for the faucet. They aren't necessarily the best looking but they are difficult to knock around when on or off. In your case this might require the faucet fixture to get completely replaced, then there's making sure they match other fixtures and are pleasing to your eye.

We have the 13 3402 Big sky and we have no issues with the shower or water pressure. We have not removed the restrictor.

We have a 2014 3402RL and have no issues with the Shower so far. We use a high flow pressure regulator. It's not the pressure of our home shower, but don't expect it to be.

I may not be understanding what you said, but what you have your pressure set for is not what you get. For instance ours is set for 60psi but we only got that in one park on our trip out west this year everyone else had 40psi or less (the one that got the pressure up was in Las Cruses and regularly blows rigs up since their pressure is over 100psi). At Q this year we bought the oxygenics shower head based on recommendations on this forum and I expected a little better performance. What we got is a whole lot better performance. Once you try one you won't go back.

The restrictor will come out you just have to dig it out.
I have found that sometimes the parks pressure is to low, I will turn on the water pump instead and that gives us more pressure.

4x on the Oxygenic shower head. When we switched units last month that was the first thing we changed from our old unit to the new. I had dug out the restrictor on the old 3400 shower head and it didn't make that much difference. Put on the new Oxygenic head and WOW, really good pressure!

We had one of these on our 06 3400 (Oxygenic shower head) and needed it. We still have it in a box at the S&B because we did not need it on the 13 3402 as the pressure is perfect anywhere we go. I wonder why things differ so much unit to unit..

X314 on the Oxygenics shower head. We took ours out of our old trailer and put it into our Monte when we purchased it new last year. It was out first mod on Monte!
We loved our Oxygenics shower head so much, that we now have one in our stick house, too!

Oxygenics is the best solution. You will not believe the difference in power. Worth a try. The way it is designed it is not effected by big variances in pressure. Same consistent great shower each time.
