Diesel spike in NoDak
Today in Harvey, North Dakota, diesel fuel jumped in one shot 30 cents per gallon to $4.18. The usual spring and fall excuse of a shortage. Meanwhile, North Dakota will soon be ranked as one of the nations leading oil producers in a year or two. We need more refinerys in ND.

I believe the reason is that the refineries are switching over to winterized fuel is why. #1 diesel is more refined thus more expensive.

But we use diesel #2... in So. Calif. is lingering around 4.03 - to 4.05. It's only been under $4 for one week about 2 weeks ago, but then it's over $4.00 again.

I was refering to Weekenders original post that it jumped up $0.30 in one day. It recently jumped up about the same here to $1.179 per liter or $4.46 a US gallon at the Flying J. I didn't have to ask if they are serving up #1 now...
Fuel mileage will suffer a bit too...

I already know the answer to this, but has anyone EVER seen fuel or gas go DOWN 20 -30 cents at one time? They all seem to go down 2 or 3 cents at a time (making hundreds of more dollars in profits) and then jump up 20-30 cents at any given time for ANY reason or just because they want too. If any one has seen something different let me know.

We have not had a new refinary built in 30+ years... the price of oil has not basically changed, our dollar is worth less and less... as related to gold and other standards, oil remains basically the same...
If someone thinks oil co's make soooo much money, pls look at their return on investment, or better still buy their stock... last time I checked the return per invested dolar was around 2 to 3% on average...
We have what was voted for... pray for us and wish us the best... God help us !!!
I hope I am wrong ...
Thank you...

Good reasons for all those in ND or even CA to come to FL for the winter! About $3.75 at the moment, been a little lower or higher, but better than $4!

$3.69 in Denver, but I did see biodiesel for $4.09 yesterday. Wonder if he's selling any? Remember when diesel was cheaper than gasoline? Since it's basically crude oil with the chunks strained out, I wonder why it's so pricey all of a sudden?
