Super slide leak

Had a hard rain last night, water leak between windows in wiring junction box
Today, 2 tubes of Dicor after cleaning real good the 3" wide strip outside the slide roof, it covers up the screws, caulk both sides of the strip.
Another gulley-washer tonite, no leaky...

Was that the top/outside edge of your big slide?
Also, do you have a slide topper on that slide? I had a leak on the
same slide, but the water was coming in the bottom back of the slide
under the trim. screws were all rusted . Replaced with SS screws & caulked them inside & outside. No more leak. Hardest part was finding the leak.

Yes, the outside. No toppers.
I had the same leak as yours on the inside also, did the whole strip. You would think they would do a better job of sealing it. Glad yours is fixed.

I did a thread on this about 6 months ago. In my case they didn't put the eternabond strip down properly on all slides. My dealer did a bang up job removing the old and installing new eternabond all on Keystones dime. Everyone should check the slide top strip from time to time, before the leak.

Its unfortunate you had to do that Ozz. Just more justification for my comments made concerning tires. They dont care about what they put out. There main concern is the bottom line in there checking account. We pay big money for these units you would think they would provide us with some quality wormanship. Al

We had a similar problem back in 07 on our bedroom slide. I've got a nine year old grand daughter that could have sealed the strip over the screws better. It had ruffles all along the edges. Completely re-roofed under warranty. Certainly it would be cheaper to do it right the first time?
