I have one deep cycle 12v acid fill I.S. installed 5/05. I keep it pluged in 90% of the time home or on the road. I cked and added about 16ozs of water last week for the first time since new. still runs everything great. I left it unpluged for 2 weeks in dec and it was still up. I guess I have been lucky I would buy another no questions asked. JMHO

Our original (2003) Interstate deep Cycle is working just fine prior to storing this fall plan to replace in the spring.
Evey winter I would bring into the garage and give it a trickle charge once a month.I see no need to get an expensive replacement

Deep cycle is the way to go. One or two depends on your use.
