Couldn't resist..........
I just went outside and there the Montana sat, looking rather lonely. I opened her up, turned on the heat and tuned in the TV. Tonight, the wife and I will be dry camping in the back yard. We picked up the trailer a few weeks ago, spent two nights in it after the purchase, brought it home and have been snowed in ever since. We can wait no longer and just have to use it.

Good idea Ron! I know we have two members coming from the Alturas area (Adin and Milford) who would be happy lead the way.

And if they can't make that one they can always come to the Seven Feathers Rally in June.

The grandkids will have us do that when the trips get too far apart. We even had a fire ring next to the camper for the hot dog and marshmellons.

Ron,
Indeed a good idea but vacation has already been scheduled. For right now,we will be staying closer to home. As soon as some of the seasonal parks open, we will take a few short trips prio to our trip this summer.

Thinking of heading out to the storage area at the farm this weekend and doing the same thing! Problem is here it's about 23* and I really would like to enjoy myself and I have some heat besides the furnace or an electric heater!
Crooktail if your plans include coming into the Midwest or Central Plains, come and join us at our MOC Central Plains Rally July 13th-18th. You'll be able to meet all kinds of MOC members here and get a chance to attend your first MOC Rally too. Watch the Regional Camping Clubs section of the forum for more announcements on the Rally. Hope you can make it!

We, too, feel the "pull" to hitch up the Montana and hit the road...in fact, we set up to do a system check next week and then on the road next month! So, you are not alone in your desire to get in your Montana.

Our first trip is set for the Smokey Mtns April 2. It's been such a lousy winter here in Michigan I've had to plan for this trip by making sure the area by the kingpin had been totally void of snow since December so I'll be able to hookup. Fortunately its starting to warm up enough during the day to melt the ice off from the recent ice storm so I can open the slides. C'mon Spring!!!
