Converter Location
I have a 2010 Montana 3455SA. Today power went out with new battery. Tried charging battery manually but got error code at 7.4 Volts. Charging battery tonight to take back to Batteries Plus (never use them!) on my charger. If it turns out not to be battery, where in the heck is the converter? Hate to pay to have someone else to replace it when I can order it and save on labor, if I can find it. Any help appreciated.

My buddy actually wired his battery backwards. It blew the fuses in the converter/charger. The converter was in the basement behind the rear bulkhead. The two 40 amp fuses on the converter were toast. Rewired the batteries, changed the fuses, and all was well again.

On our 2010 it was under the stairs. If your's is the same, take the screws out of the grates on the stairs and it should be about a foot back in there.

Found it under the steps as some have stated. Easy reach except the the frame is bolted to board and cannot get to the back side of the converter to release from floor. Damn engineers who design these things never have to work on them!

OK, time to remove the rear panel in the pass through compartment on the passenger side. Not a big deal, other than clearing out the pass through, a few screws and you can access the rear of the converter.
