Microwave/convection oven

Something to watch out for- After crossing I-10 in Louisiana (nasty road!), I noticed a gap between the microwave/convection oven and the cabinet bottom. Seems the back mounting plate had come loose and the the front bolts had backed out some.

On the back plate, it had been installed with small wood screws into the 1/8 inch plywood and I am amazed that it held up as long as it did.

On the front screws (3), they are long, extend down through the cabinet bottom and have no locking mechanism - again, surprised they held as long as they did.

I used reinforcement inserts in the back plywood and replaced the front bolts with fiber lock nuts to hopefully avoid a repeat.
