Hello
Sometime in the last week or so someone ask about removing an 110V receptacle from the wall.
Here are some pictures.
Unit as viewed from the front. Gently pray the face plate off of the receptacle.

This is what the back side of the face plate looks like, The 2 buttons at top and bottom are what snaps into the receptacle to hold the face plate on.

This is what the receptacle looks like after the face plate is removed, The square holes top and bottom are the ones the face plate snaps into. The 2 screws top and bottom are the ones that tighten the retainers when the receptacle is installed in the wall. You do not have to remove these screws to remove the receptacle from the wall only loosen them.

This is the back side of the receptacle. The white piece going up from the unit is the top retainer that holds the unit to the wall. When you loosen the screw the retainer on top turns down to clear the wall when you pull the receptacle out. The bottom one rotates the retainer up when you loosen the screw but you have to hold the screw in the loosened position to remove the receptacle or the plastic retainer will fall down and keep the receptacle from coming out of the wall.
You do not have to remove these screws to remove the receptacle from the wall only loosen them.
I hope this is of some help to you all.
