Montana slides maintenance

Hi all, I contacted Montana via email about this topic but haven't heard back from them. Our rv has 3 slides that operate via a cable and pulley system. There are rollers under the slide that I can see. Does anyone know of routine maintenance that is done to the cables, pulleys and rollers? I don't find that info anywhere. Thanks in advance. Darrel

You might put a little dry lube on the bottom of the slides. There isn't much you can do to the cable system.

I only have one cable drive (bedroom), with the slide closed, there is access to the chain drive, motor, some of the cable/pulley system, by standing on the bed. I spray with silicon spray occasionally. With slide open, I spray dry lube on the bottom rollers on the outside bottom edge as well as silicon on the exposed cables.

If you use the RV a lot you will find the cables will require adjustment, and as usual, Keystone's generic instruction manual offers little help. I had them on a Montana High Country and didn't like them, happy to say they don't come on the Montana 3790 we now have.

The $200,000 dollar DRV my neighbor just bought has 2 cable slides.

There's a video on youtube describing cable replacement. If i recall correctly, the tech stated the pulleys were sealed and no lube was required.
