Deep freezer in our living room slide

We go to Florida sometimes for a few weeks in the winter and usually catch a pretty good amount of crappie while we are there....my question is would the extra weight of a small deep freeze cause any problems with the slide as far as running it in and out? I have weighed the fish in years past and the combined weight of the small freezer and the fish would be between 200 and 250 pounds, Thanks in advance for your comments!

I don't see any problem with that. Imagine 2- 200# people sitting in the same place ?

The only issue I see is that I do not get any fish. So missing my crappie fishing. As for the slide, I see no problems. My bedroon slide normally has 2-300lbs of guns and ammo in it and it is just fine.

What about placing in the front storage compartment vs a slide. We have a bar frig installed there.

Seriously though, the big concern is how close to max carrying capacity are you? No idea what 5er you have or truck.

I have know several Montana owners that have removed one of their recliners and put a small chest type freezer in the back of the unit and have had no problems with it there. If you catch enough just stop by and I'll help you eat some of them!

lol...we usually catch plenty while we are down there...so I could feed you if we got in your neighborhood....we love our recliners so that is a no go to put the freezer in the back....I think we will go with it in the slide.....thank you for the input! Safe travels!
