New members

Hi, we are Steve and Lisa Peterson. Happy new owners of a Montana High Country 353 RL. We are looking forward to retire and full time. We recently upgraded from an Open Range Light and love the new Montana.

I am looking forward to trading ideas with other Montana owners.

Safe travels,

Steve and Lisa

Welcome to the MOC Forum! You will find this site to be the most informative site you can find on the www especially on your Montana. If you have questions, ask away and you will get the answer to it from many of the members. If you can answer a question asked by another member jump in there and tell us your experience even if it may not have been on your new Montana! Again, welcome to MOC and if you can attend any of the MOC Regional Rallies during the year or the MOC Fall Rally in September register and join in on the fun and information.

Welcome aboard, Petes. We are also newbies on here and are eagerly awaiting delivery of our own 353 RL. Our tow vehicle also happens to be a 2011 F250. Small world, huh? I hope that your unit has been trouble free so far. We also plan to fulltime but need to unload some sticks and bricks here in Indiana first. Best wishes!

Thanks to everyone for the welcome.

To Phil- knock on wood but so far with a 3000 mile trip right out of the chute, we have had zero issues. South Carolina to Wisconsin and back, pulled like a dream. DW even likes driving with the "new" truck. Ford's 6.7 is the best, but I am adding a set of Firestone air bags. The 2011 does not have the springs the ol' 2003 SD had. I am sure that will stir up the troops! I am looking to change the tires on the Montana before we get full timing. I want a better tire for the open road.

BTW, I tow with a goose neck with a Reese hitch called a goose box. It is approved by Lippert. That will start another discussion!

You will really like the 353. Just a nice rig. And classy!!

Good luck,

Steve
