Pat has been very sick kidney stones and infection. She has had litho and surgery. Had to have a Picc line inserted so that she can have IV antibiotics for extended period. Thanks for your prayers. Going home today 4-30. PTL!!!

Pat is still not well. Has to stay in bed. Still carrying low grade fever and nausea. Drs say it is side effects to antibiotics. Three more weeks of IV antibiotics. Thanks again for your prayers.
Pat is much better today. 2 weeks of antibiotics to go. Prayers are being answered,
Today urologist said that he was 80% sure that she was healing. Will go two weeks without antibiotics to be sure. PTL

I can relate to what she is going through. I had them twice. One time I passed and the other time bombarded with sound (ESWL) to break then into smaller fragments to be able to pass them. Eventually did pass them, but not before being admitted to ER and pumped full of morphine. I know she is in severe pain and pray for a speedy resolution.

Good luck to you both. I once passed 27 stones over a weekend; boy was I not in a good mood!

Larry,
Please pass on our concern and best wishes to Pat for a speedy recovery. I too have had those pesky stones so I have some idea of what she is going through. You will both get to the other side of this and all will be good again.

Ouch, Hook! Women I know have told me that passing a stone is way worse than having a baby naturally. What they are doing to her means it's pretty severe. We pray for all this to pass soon.
