50A Marine Type Cable
Does anyone know the length of the 50A cable that is furnished with a new Montana fifth wheel?

i agree with armyguy 25 feet sounds about right .any longer the cable gets to heavy and to hard to roll up .specially if its cold out.

Most trailers are 30 feet, and motorhomes are 50 feet. Go figure.

Our Big Sky came with a 25 ft 50A cable. The only reason I know this, is when they delivered the trailer to the campground for us it ended up being about 4 feet too far for the cable and we had to go buy a second one to have power. For a mere $170.00!!! Yes, I know a couple of greenhorns! Taking delivery from a novice delivery person...unhitched us and left! It's OK we are getting all these stupid things over with before we hit the road!

Don't leave that extra cable at home! We stayed at a campground in North Pole Alaska where the power boxes were at the front of the lot, and of course our power inlet is on the rear of the the trailer. Yeah, we have a 50 amp extension too!

Our 50A cable is only 30 feet because I have to check carefully at every site to make sure that it will reach. Sometimes the choice is hook up to AC and then move later in the site to hook up to the sewer. I am buying a longer sewer hose! That is the cheapest solution so far. I also carry 100 feet of cable for my TV since the cable outlets are all over the place. I often use it.

I purchased a used 50 amp cable at an RV salvage yard and a female outlet at an electrical business- I did the assembly ( it works!)- Total expense about $30.00- We use both cords frequently- They store in a dairy container- Sure is a tight fit- Hope y'all find this helpful- Don
