Exploring the nooks and cranies of the Monty
It's amazing what you find when you aren't looking. Ever since picking up our rig, we've been looking for the key to the Brinks box under the bed. Not having found it, we assumed the previous owners had neglected to leave it. While doing some pre-Winter dusting and storing, I was dusting the Oak trim around the bedroom window and found a hole in the top. What do you know, hiding spot. Hey there's a hinge along the side. Huh, it opens, and there's a key box inside with of all things, the keys for the Brinks box. Are there any other secret passage ways in these I should know about?
Happy Thanksgiving!

Some of us have removed the panel from under the refrig (if your model has one) and turned it into a storage area...some make it a 'secret' storage area.

I don’t remember if I mentioned this on this forum or not but we had a camper once and I was removing a piece of carpet in the closet when I found a bank envelope. It looked as though it had been stashed away underneath there for quite sometime. When I looked in it I discovered I was the proud owner of a nice $100.00 dollar bill. That camper didn’t have a lock box. Sometimes it pays to look through all the nooks and crannies! The funny thing was is that the people we bought it from assured us that they had been through it and we wouldn’t find anything.

Phil,
How come you had to tell how many more there were. Now when he finds the 8th one he'll know he's finished. For shame!!!

Gramps, did you check the top of that wood frame thingy around that window? Ours has a lift out panel up there.

In our 2010 3400RL I found a false wall in the shelving cabinet to the right of the sliding mirrored doors. There was a hinge on the back and if I pulled lightly on the top it opened and there were hooks behind it. Cool.

Hate to admit this but we lived in our last 5th wheel for a year and didn't know it had a storage next to our 4 door fridg. Until we were in Goshen looking at the 2010 Models and a lady said the cabinet is very nice, and she opened the door and Delaine said does our 2009 have that and the lady said yes it does. Well the old saying is you learn something everyday GBY...
