Squeaking slide

I notice that every time I put the slides out the living room slide does a lot of squeaking before the gears engage. I have tried to correct this problem by spraying the gear tracks with silicone spray but it still squeaks. Anybody had this problem before and if so what did you do to correct it.

Rich I spray mine with white lube seems to work well but my dinette slide has started to make that squealing sound so it must be time to lube again. I have used silicone but I dont think it works that well.

On either side of the gear is a plastic wheel and and outside of that you will see a steel plate with a bronze bushing in it. try a little synthetic oil between the wheel and steel plate
