Tennessee Travel

My husband and I are planing a trip into Tennessee at the end of April and I seem to be having trouble finding some where to stop near the Columbia area.

Any suggestions?

I agree with Awaywego, Henry Horton state park is nice and about 15 miles from columbia. theres also another private owned campground closer to Columbia and it is also a nice park (family park) if you will be traveling I-65 then at columbia get off exit 46, bear creek pike, go east about a mile and the park is there. I have a niece and her hubby lives off of bear creek, so I have stayed at both. Either is good. (931) 381-4112, thats Campers Rv family campground. Have fun!

Well glad to hear about the privately owned park in Columbia. I talked to them today and that is where we are going to stay. Only problem is that they do not reserve any sites. So, we will be keeping our fingers crossed that they have a site for us.

I also e-mailed Henry Horton State Park this morning to see if they have a campsite map available. I could not find one on the web at all.

Appreciate the advise!
