Moving day

Our sunshine hunt has gone sour. Left Benson, Az. this morning and arrived Florence, Az. Two minutes after set up a hail storm hit the area. Still light rain. Trust all those in the group that left Benson today had a safe trip to destination. Want to thank all the MOC folks that were at Q and onward for the great time. Look forward to other campouts. It was great fun to be in the convoy from Q to Ajo. I will post in a few days some of the pics from that trip.

I am sure the sun will come back.

Dick, we are glad to hear that you arrived in Florence safely. We also had a great time with all at Q and beyond and are looking forward to meeting all again soon. We arrived in Casa Grande with only a few sprinkles on us, but we had to set up in the rain. We are at the Palm Creek Golf and RV Resort.

Dick,
I didn't tell you folks but a couple of years ago when we were traveling with our friends Richard and Pat in this neck of the woods it rained on us the entire trip! When we left Bakersfield we chased the storm all the way to Quartzsite. It got so bad that my friend named me "Black Cloud"!

Now you know why the weather has been so cold and stormy.

Glad you got set up before the storm hit. Like Helen said we're looking forward to those pictures. Especially the "Convoy" ones. Have a great trip.

Yes !!!! The sun is back. In fact it is very warm today. A little breeze has kept it very nice. This RV park is great. We stumbled on it last year. It is very quiet and the lots are large. 50 X 80 is the norm. Landscaped very desert.
Walking trails and bike riding are all around us. Have sighted many new birds. I know only old folks have time to watch birds.

The Montana brand is well represented here. Have found no one on the forum. I recommend this place.

WIFI is come and go.

We're real happy that all of our "caravan" friends are safe. We are in Bullhead City for another 9 days, so if you get this way, please get in touch.

BTW, we did get a couple of pictures of the caravan, but we were number 5, so there are only 4 in front of us, if anyone wants a copy, please PM.

Everyone, please be safe.
