Hwy 299 in CA

I was West bound near Weaverville at 1:00 PM on Wednesday (5/30). You were East bound with a blue Ford TV. I flashed twice and so did you.

P.S. Another thread had some discussion about the drivability of Hwy 299. Having just completed that route, there is no problem. One 8% and three 6% grades (all downhill going West bound). Now, Hwy 1 between Leggett and Fort Bragg is a different story!

Carl & Susan, Glad to hear you're still having fun out there. I've driven that Leggett-Ft. Bragg route with a Lance camper and didn't like it too well. I can only imagine doing it with the Montana!

Carl and Susan - I didn't like Hwy 1 in that area in a car, I can't imagine doing it towing. Have fun!
Happy trails.......................
