We too spent the winter in AZ and loved it but think maybe we came back to Colorado too soon. Today was the second day this week we've had snow. Not a lot but it's cold too. We're at 8300 ft so it takes longer to warm up here. Do plan on spending next winter in AZ also.

Our house just went on the market so it is going to be awhile before we move. Soon as it sells we are gone. Houses in Colorado are not selling as fast as they did. I know the interest rate must have something to do with it.
Our Realtor is very optimistic.

We wish you luck selling your house, Dusty and Don. Our son and his fiancee sold their houses in eight and nine days, respectively. We wish you the same good fortune.

Actually Lake Havasu City is our worst case backup plan. Helen's brother lives there and is building a new home with "camper facilities" If the cost of energy gets so high that we can't travel as we would like Lake Havasu ,City will be our permanent winter site. It is also our first stop on our..follow the sun trip this winter..Hopefully???
