Slide awning

We have a 2015 3611RL We are looking into putting an awning on the slide. The problem is a 10 foot just covers the windows (it looks to small). the 11 foot looks good except the bottom foot has two screws one goes into the slide itself the other goes into the trim around the slide. Is there anyway this could work?

I think if the trim comes out with the slide you may be ok. You might want to consider using a pop rivet

I am not sure a trim base is sufficient.

Trickto32 we had the 10 foot awning installed on our slide and it provides more shade than you think. I would not risk the potential damage that could occur with the screws going through the trim. Tim

Our Big Sky has the 10" Awning on the rear slide. We love it.
