Air Conditioner Thermostat

A little static electricity took out my AC thermostat. Fortunately I have been down this road before. It is 90 degrees here in NW New Mexico, and we expected some grim hot days to come. As I ran into this before many years ago in a previous 5th wheel, I had bought a backup spare thermostat. Last time they pulled the AC off the roof for a bench check, only to determine it was the thermostat as I had suggested. Well, as we are a long way from any service repair, I thought I would try swapping out the $35 thermostat first. Crossed my fingers, and it worked.. Happy wife and a cool result.
