I have a leaking grey water tank. I found the crack on the rib on the bottom. I spoke with the Co that made the tank and was told keystone was told the tanks needed to be supported with strapping. It is only supported by the top flanges. After i repair the tank with some stuff called Plasti-Mend (that stuff works) it will have stappping to support it.

Both my gray and Black Water Tanks have failed at their outlets, or along their "bottom edges" due to careless overfilling.
Both repaired myself with Plasti-Mend.
Galley tank has been overfilled several times per year (thanks to DW) and has never leaked. Must be so small that it can handle the stress of being full vs the bigger cheap ABS Tanks...

Since last year, new Montana's ship with rotomolded tanks. Time will tell. We have been fortunate. Our 2005 and 2010 units had no tank problems while we owned them. We boondock, so water, black and gray tanks all traveled rough roads full.

Does anyone have a shoot from the hip estimate on replacing the grey water tank?? We have a 2005 RK3000 and we get about 2-3 showers and it starts leaking through the underbelly. Have not taken the "weather board" down yet so don't know where it's leaking or if we have a mold issue starting also. We're in Alaska now an hope to limp back to Arizona before having it replaced if it lasts that long.

This is my first keystone product. My previous three were SOB of the same manufacture. All had about same size tanks as my Montana. I also was active on the SOB forum from 1996 until purchase of Montana. Never heard of any tank problems. Yes, if the SOB was still around that is what I'd have now. Sunnybrook.

From what I remember, it is around $1,000 parts and labor.
