Dennis and Susan,

What is the Barnyard and what issue are you having? If this is analog cable at an RV park, all you should need to do is connect via cable at the convenience center to the cable plug, turn off your over the air antenna booster (behind the bedroom TV) and program channels on the TVs you want to watch via menu on your TV remotes.

Zack explained perfectly. Have stayed at Barnyard a dozen times, nice reasonably priced park.

Good recommendations above. In addition, there have been multiple cases where the coax connectors in the convenience center have been mislabeled. And, of course, there have been as many where there was internal coax problems.

If you have the antenna amp switch off, and you have gone into the TV menu and selected cable and ran a new channel scan and still cannot get TV channels, then try running the coax from the park cable connection directly to your TV and see if that works.

Cable Booster Montana 3854BR

I am new to the RV world, I just bought the 2019 Montana 3854BR 20th anniversary edition. I am trying to get cable installed but having an issue with the cable booster. I can not find the switch to turn the cable booster on and off. I anyone can tell me where this is located, it would be greatly appreciated. I have looked behind both televisions, and there is not any switch near them.

Antenna booster button

This is behind my bedroom TV. Look at the green LED and the black button next to it on the center cover plate next to the 12 volt outlet.

Antenna Booster switch.

Mikendebbie,
I appreciate the quick response, but mine doesn't have anything like that behind any of the TV's. I will try to find to find out from the dealer.

The 2019 models now have the Key TV system. I don't know much about it but it is different than before. There are copies of 3 Key TV manuals in the Files section. Perhaps reviewing them will help.

Cable thru Key TV

This is a screen shot from the Key TV quick start guide. Maybe this thing is automatic and you don’t have a signal booster...in fact the last statement in the quick start says if the cable signal is not strong enough it will automatically switch to antenna over the air TV. The only other test I might try if I were in you shoes is to hook up park cable directly to the back of one of your TVs. If that TV works then you know that either the signal is not strong enough to get thru the Key TV system, or there might be a wiring issue.
