Replacing Mattress

We looked at several different Keystone 5th wheels and ended up buying a 2018 HC 345RL. One thing we noticed that all the units had in common was a hard mattress. After sleeping on ours several nights it's time to change it out. I have looked at numerous threads on the subject but still I would like to know what you replaced yours with. What type and where did you purchase it.
Thanks for the input.

We simply put a 3 inch foam Mattress topper on top and have slept great since.

I agree with Mike. Look at a natural latex foam topper. Latex foam is a heavy dense foam that supports you better then regular foam so there are no pressure points but it is also soft and will never compress where you lay.

Serta from Sam's club. They delivered and hauled the old one away and I didn't have to wrestle with either one.

We bought a Parklane RV king and I would almost rather sleep on it than the one we have in the house.

Which one of the Parklane did you buy. There were several listed on their web page.

I’ll have to give a look when I get where I’m going. As they might have added a model. It was a little over 300 I believe.

We cut the platform down to a Queen. Moved the one from the house and bought a new one for the house.

It is the memory foam Adventurer RV King. 72X80 it was very manageable and comes in a box.

We replaced our factory mattress with a Sterns and Foster. We also have these in our house. Really like these.

mattress

We bought a foam mattress from Sams to replace the factory mattress in our previous RV (Laredo). When we bought the Monte had the dealer move it over. I made them keep the Monte factory mattress.

Never slept on our OEM HC. At trade, it was part of the deal to swap the brand new mattress (Simmons Postrurpedic) in the old 5er to the new HC. That mattress proved way too high so I pulled the platform box out and cut it down the 5" difference. Woked for us. My 'advice' is use what you have in the S&B and is comfortable there, it will be in the RV too, I do wish we had the Stearns and Foster now in the S&B as it is even better but 1500 bucks is a bunch of diesel fuel or CG stays.

Sleep number here as well, but we elected to go with the King sized RV model. Liked it so much in the Montana that we bought the exact same RV model sleep number for the house. Matching mattresses at home and on the road is hard to beat! Good luck with your decision and hope it works for you

Same here. Put a Sleep Number RV ( found a used one cheap) king bed in the Montana and liked it so much that we bought a Personal Comfort number bed for the house. Personally I like the Personal Comfort bed better than the Sleep Number bed. I like a firm mattress and the DW likes soft so now we can set each side as we like. Since they are air mattresses they are easy to get into the rv and are very light.

We changed out to a nice 10” memory foam with a 2” gel foam topper. Had to do it that way to fit under bedside tables that we didn’t want to get rid of. I looked and looked for a RV radius corner bed but was not willing to pay the extra price for it so went with one with regular corners and it has not been a problem.

just go out and find a mattress you like, that'll do it. or let your fingers do the walking and google mattresses.

that simple, it's all about your preference.
