full pagesizing

Why is it that on some pages on the forum I can see the whole page without moving the bar an the bottom and others I can't. Hope you can understand what I mean. You know how you have to use the arrow at the bottom to slide the page over. That's what I'm talkin about.

If you using IE go to View at the top and go to text size and select the size you want. Experiment with it. Another thing you can do is change your screen resolution. I am using 1024 x 768 with no bar at the bottom. You can do this in your conrol panel.

Much of the problem seems to be with posts with pictures wider than the reader's resolution is set. That can be individual pictures, side-by-side graphics, often in a signature, etc. Those posting with the wide graphics are probably using a higher resolution and don't realize how it affects those using a lesser resolution. Using a higher resolution is not always doable on all machines.

Ron, checked mine and text is set to medium. My resolution is 1280x800 - I have a widescreen laptop. I can't remember having to use the scroll bar to see the whole page. Thought it might help.

Ron A., I have the same setup as you, widescreen laptop, 1280x800, but have the text size on Smaller. Like you, I rarely get the scroll bar. But at least some of that is probably the widescreen feature allows the browser window to use that 1280 pixels.
