Awning Alignment

Had trouble with my awning closing all the way. I found this YouTube video that help me so I thought I would share. After viewing the video I measure my awning and found out it was out by and inch. so I took the one screw out that holds the top in place in the channel and slide it the one inch put the screw back in and now my awning closes every time all the way.

The awning attached to the roof doesn't move due to the screws. But the end on the roller does as it is just sitting in a grooved track. After a while the wind causes it to slide down the groove which results in it rolling up crooked and then the arms don't align. Moving the awning at the roof is one solution but what happens when the awning has slid so far down the roller it bunches up against the end?
IMHO it is easier to just slide the awning on the roller to bring it back into alignment.

Carl you have a point. I did try moving the roller end but it did not budge and it was kind of centered to begin with. My problem has been the same since I bought the unit therefore I think it was miss aligned from the factory and moving the part attached to the roof was the best solution.
