W/D installl
3791RD .So we're having our washer/dryer installed. Install tech says we don't need to anchor washer to the floor..
Any thoughts or comments would be appreciated.

It should have come with screws to anchor it.

Different model Monte. I don’t know if mine is anchored to the floor or not. But considering the very small closet it is in I don’t see how they could have gotten in to put any screws in it.

Mine is not anchored I the floor but it does have 2 metal straps on the sides at the top that run back to the rear wall.

Washer and Dryer Anchored; 2017 - 3811ms
We have the side by side washer and dryer in our 3811ms. They have brackets that anchor them to the closet floor. As much as the washer shakes our 41' Montana when it spins; I don't know why a tech would say that yours doesn't need to be anchored in. Is your's the side by side or stackable? Maybe your model camper doesn't require anchoring? I just know now that as bad as our washer shakes the entire camper; I am VERY happy that ours IS ANCHORED down. If it wasn't anchored I know it would shake itself right out of the closet.

I have the stackable washer/dryer in my "08 3400RL. Never bolted them to the floor and never bolted them together and had zero problems since the install. The cramped area in the closet would not allow me to bolt them together or bolt them to the floor. The washer does shimmy and shake during the spin cycle, but it doesn't go any where. I had a plan in place in case I had any movement problem. Never had a problem with movement going down the highway, and I have been on some pretty bumpy roads.

We have the Splendide combo in our bedroom closet and it is not attached to the floor. Yes, it shakes when it is going through the spin cycle, but it hasn't moved and inch!
