FlexAble Hose-Pocket Hose?

I know these are the old buy one get two but has anyone used these hoses for RV use. I could use this type of hose for space and weight.

My experience with folks who have used them is that they don't stand up to either regular use or constant water pressure such as when hooked to the trailer. My experience is mostly anecdotal (I just looked in the dumpster at the COE park where we worked last summer and saw quite a few of them) but I did ask the few I knew trashed them.

If this is the one "as seen on TV", I looked at them yesterday at the local flea market. Plainly marked on the box is "Not Suitable for Potable Water" so there goes the idea of using it as the fresh water supply. The box claims it is rated for 200 P.S.I. so it should work for washing the rig and the truck.

They had a story about those hoses on the local news by a Consumer reports reporter and said they work well UNTILL they break off at the connection (they are only plastic) GOOGLE them and you will find the same complaints,it is too bad because it is a cool idea
