We're workamping in Mt. Rushmore!!!

Hey Fellow MOCers!!

If you're planning a trip to Mt. Rushmore this summer, come say HI!! We are working as sales associates in the Mt. Rushmore Bookstores (not Xanterra, the non-profit bookstore association).

Safe travels & will see you on the road!

Wow, what a bummer of a place to get stuck... NOT! Actually that's the kind of place I wouldn't mind getting stuck. Very nice! Not sure if we'll be getting out there this summer, but we'll look you up if we are in the area.

I hope you get some time off to look around other places - Devil's Tower comes to mind and there's others.

Be careful out there. I'm sure you have heard about bike week in Sturgis not far from there at all. Crazy week for sure, but lots of fun, even without a bike.

We are going to be in the area in September. Will you still be there? If so we will stop in the bookstore just to say "HI."

We plan to be there right around the 4th of July. Where are good places to park for 2-3 days? We'll be sure to say Hi.

Actually, they've stopped the 4th of July fireworks ~fire issues due to the increase of the bark beetle. Bummer, I know.......

Not sure yet, as we've only been here a week. Close by is Holy Smoke - one fellow workamping couple stays there all summer, and you'll be about 5 miles from the monument. Another popular CG is in Hill City, Rafter J, but we haven't seen it. We'll be crazy that week, but do stop by and say HI!!

Great! Do stop-by and say Hi! We're just about to blog about the WK program here, so check it out (link below) in the next couple of days. (NO need to write twice!) Safe travels!!
