Hydraulic slide outs

How long has Montana been using a hydraulic system to open the slide outs?

My 2001 Montana had the hydraulic system but had cables and pulleys instead of the arms they have on the newer units. I never had any problems with that system and none with this so far.
I think the hydraulic has always been on the Montanas.

Don't now how long (my '07 has them), but they are apparently very reliable. There are rarely any posts about slide problems other than the circuit breaker needing replacement.

Our 2000 Monty has hydraulic rams plus cables and has been reliable except for the time a hydraulic line sprung a leak- Fortunately, the leak occurred near the pump and was easily accessable to repair- Don
