Is it just me?

I seem to be receiving a lot of popups in the forum for "gummyguide.com"
wanting to put cookies. Very distracting. It just started this past week. Is everyone getting these popups?

I haven't heard about them. I have my Internet Explorer Pop-Up Blocker turned on.

Do you have another "Internet Security" program turned on? Or maybe the settings on your Internet Options has some notification pop-up set enabled?

As long as you can get cookies set, you'll be fine in this forum. They don't need to do pop-ups, though.

syplace,
I'm not getting any of those pop-ups. Of course like Gyro I've got several pop-up blockers working. Good luck.

No pop ups here, either.

I just turned off my pop-up blockers and got no popups from here. You may have some spyware or adware, some types can cause popups to occur when browsing any website (even ones that don't have popups on them).

I'd recommend running a couple of anti-spyware programs. I prefer Microsoft windows Defender, which is a free beta program right now and can be downloaded from Microsoft.com. It can be downloaded from http://www.microsoft.com/athome/secu...e/default.mspx
I also like ewido, which is acommecial program but offers a 30 day fully functional trial. That can be gotten from www.ewido.com

Thanks all. This has been going on for about 2 wks only on this site.
Prior to that I never got a pop up on this forum. I am experimenting at trying to adjust this. So will probably goof up the whole system!
