MOC Website

Has anyone been having trouble logging onto the MOC website from their previously made bookmarks? I keep geting a page displayed that says something about a website coming soon. I got back into this site off a Google search link?

It appears forumco has lost the link again. It happens every once in while. Admin will probably notify them.

I was having that problem but when I got on I just set it up again as a favorite and that took care of the problem.

I had that problem this morning. Had to change the URL to get back on. Took a bit of detective work.

Sorry to say Rich it still isn't working at my time 1855hrs. PST.

This is what Lady RV sent me Pass it on

Use this link the exact address, it's really the address for the forum.

http://montanaadministrator.forumco.com/

Pass it on to anyone you know from MOC as it could take a while to get this all back to normal.

I am very sorry for the inconvenience.

All my best,
Lady RV

The last time this happened (last fall?), I switched to the address TT2 has posted. The only thing I noticed about this incident, was that my email notifications went dead for an unusually long time, so they must not be working either.

Also, different admin now sending email notifications, my email was confused at first. These have been coming from MontanaOwners2@aol.com since I signed on last July and continued up until last night. This morning, LadyRV@montanaowners.com is now sending these. I had the first sender color coded. Now I had to switch my color to LadyRV. It was kind of a neat teal color... why am I talking about this???

The only thing that I found that happens when I log on is it seems to ask for the password all the time now, where before I could ask it to be remembered and just log on.

There are a lot of MOC members that still can't find the site. Some of them posted over on the RV net open roads forum looking for information but they closed the thread.I have always thought that was a good forum and I belong but there are a lot of negative Montana post over there. That is not a good thing.

Wow that is shocking that they closed the thread when someone asked about the MOC link. Not good.

I had looked on RV net to see if there was anything about this
Forum. It seems very odd that they should have removed the thread as I would have thought that site was complementary not competative. There is a saying in the North of England "theres nought as strange as folks" and I think that would probably apply in this case. Diana

Hello Everyone,

First I would like to extend our sincere apology for the link not bringing people to the forum. There is a page up now (Thank you Glenn!) that leads people back to the forum.

The actual address for the forum is http://montanaadministrator.forumco.com/default.asp

Regarding the RV.Net episode...

...I have not been there as I have been too busy trying to find a solution to what has been happening the last couple of days. So, I have no idea why they did lock the thread. However if the forum goes down we have always kept the Yahoo Groups Montana_Owners_Club which is a good place to post if this is down or share information with other members who may look there for some news. The actual web address for this forum is posted there somewhere and I will post it again.

Take care all and thank you so much for your patience and loyalty. You're all the best!

Well I just checked RV.Net the Open Roads Forum, and they closed the thread but also moved it to "around the campfire" and it's open there.

I believe the Admins are just trying to do a good job there. I don't know if I'd have moved it (I thought it was also "locked" - even in the "Around the Campfire" area) like they decided to do, but they surely are not stupid (bad word?) enough not to realize just how many MOCers there actually are on their forum. A poor judgement move by their Admin(s) would create what I believe would be called a "Backlash".

I, like Rich, am a Full Member over there. I would have no problem bailing out of there if there seemed to be a definite pattern of bias developing in that forum. I don't think that would happen, though. The Admins would be deluged by PMs from MOCers who are members over there, too. I don't think they would be very happy if they upset this group.

Like Lady Rv said it is in the "around the campfire" forum but is is also closed. Never said where they moved it and I don't understand whay they closed the subject There are many MOC'ers over there some like me use the same screen name and others don't but they are not hard to recognize. It was a bad move on their part to close the thread AND not say where it was moved..
