Portside RV Park, Brookings, OR

We recently spent two nights at the Portside Rv Park in Brookings,OR and it's not what their Web site shows it to be. The park is clean, the help friendly, etc. Of the 58 sites, 35 or so of the best sites are occupied by permanent park models. Of the remaining sites, 10 are pull-thrus and our 3150 barely fit in one of them. The spaces are only about 20' wide and we felt like we were in a sardine can. The remaining sites are back-ins and have more room, but they are in the back part of the park and some are occupied by long term renters.

The park would be OK for an overnight stay, but I wouldn't go there again for any lenght of time.

Thanks for the post. We'll make sure we pass by that place. Last Sept. we stayed two nights at the Beachfront RV Park, run by the Port of Brooking Harbor. http://www.beachfrontrvpark.com/ and were very happy there. But, it wasn't an up scale resort. If you get reservations quite early you can get a pull through pretty close to the ocean. We had a back-in but had plenty of room. I would definitely go there again. We have friends that go and stay a few weeks each year and love it. He loves the fishing pier.
