Customer Bill of Rights

Dear Keystone:

I think customers should have a bill of rights.

1. The right to go into any service center at any dealer and expect to get repairs done. They are Mobile Homes, after all. Not all issues happen within reach of home and we don't all stay in the same home forever.

2. When an issue arises that your warranty service sees as an issue, they should make the repair without issue (for instance the plastic underlayment that is coming lose because not enough glue was used, or the wire troughs that everyone repairs) even after the warranty period.

3. Keystone should publish a list of known issues on their websites with information on how to fix it ourselves or where to go to fix it.

4. Keystone should have a program to assure dealer competency. Many of the issues seen on this forum are a result of poor dealer follow through.

I agree, this is a RV industry problem. But its our fault, we don't hold their feet to the fire. They know if they wait long enought we will go away. I don't like Dealerships, they are a constant problem. The charge to much and do in most cases poor workmanship. Its always the same answer the RV manufactor want pay, and in just about all cases thats a lie. Good Post rames14. GBY...
