I've found out that new/remodeled campground plans are getting pretty much standardized with the water/electric/cable pedestals being on the driver's side at the back of the lot. 2 reasons for this: 1. people running them over when the pedestals are on the side midway to the front. 2. Since most manufacturers copy each other, it standardizes the industry for the utility location. Obviously noone bothered to talk with the RVer's with the mish mash of utility locations on their units. I had a motorhome that was a nightmare to try and hook up with the water on one side and the electical on the other no where near where the pedestal was.
