Travelling with a Kitty

For those of you that travel with your Kitty, please tell me where do you situate the kitty box!

We put the box between the chairs, it is covered, we sift the clumping litter each day. Kittys and owners are equally happy.
Good luck, Ozz

We have a closed in stool room but the door bottom is off the floor enough that kitty can crawl under it. So, we put the "box" in the stool room (library).

We have two kitties who travel with us and two dogs. So, the box needs to be protected from the dogs.
I use regular litter and go to the Dollar store and buy cheap trash bags. Line the litter box, put some litter in, put the top on and slide it under the desk. I change it every other day.
When I use the computer, I prop my feet up on the box. Serves as a foot stool for me.
We put the desk chair in front so the cats can still get to it, but the dogs can't.

we travel with 3 kittys, the litter box is in the front clothes closet, on the right side, we just leave the closet door open nuff for them to enter and leave, they dont go anywhere else in the closet.

We fortunately have a basement area in the very back of our unit...3655FL. Steve cut a cat door from underneath the closet that enters the "basement". Kitty's box is there; she goes in and out without any problems. Open the outside door to scoop the box. We don't have to look at it and the dogs can't mess with it. Works great for us!

Or box is in the bedroom between the drawers, where TV is, and the dresser. its real nice and we barely use the bottom drawers, If need be, the box is easily slid out of way to access the drawers.

Nino has a covered litter box, cover locks on.
Best one we have had.
Right now we keep it in the bedroom, but new coach will be in the bathroom! I clean it daily so no smells. Use the clumping litter.

we spent 2 months in Arizona with Misha and Billie Joe and the litter box went in the garden tub in the Sprinter. We have the Montana and it will be there also. Less mess!!!

We have a 3400RL; we put our cat’s box under the kitchen sink, closest to the living room. Our cat, Baxter, has access through the door on the dining room side of the cabinet. A small push pin keeps the door from latching and some elastic pinned at the top keeps the door closed. It takes some training, but Baxter has adjusted well.

Give it a try, works great and totally out of the way.

We keep Murphy's box in the shower - just remember to keep the door propped open enough for him to get in and out - of course, we remove it from the shower when we need to take a shower - not much trouble and out of sight!

Does anyone put the kitty in their rig while driving? We took a 3 hr drive and took Sassafrass in the truck with us. She never shut up! Meowed all the way. On the way back we put her in the rig for the 3 hr drive. Is this dangerous? It wasn't real hot or cold out. Or should I see if I can get the vet to prescribe kitty-valium for her? She's pretty old (12) and has never liked cars. I just don't think I can do 12 hrs a day of M-E-O-O-W-ing every 2 minutes. Do you think she will quit meowing after the first day?
