I'm in favor of the pot-luck dinner. Not only does it allow you more choices in foods, but those of us with dietary restrictions can prepare foods we can eat & share without the "guilt." Also, the friendly talk and getting to know other MOC-ers won't be restricted by time/place or restaurant hours. Let the dinner flow into the marshmallow roasting!

Right now I'm leaning on staying at the park for supper. But we need a chairman.

Okay, since no one stepped up for this one, how about a foil packet supper. It works like this
1. Each of us brings a prepared veggie to share with the group (broccoli, celery, mushrooms, potatoes, sliced onions, carrot coins, sliced squash, sliced zuccini, bell pepper, cauliflower, snow peas) and a portion of meat for each person in our rig. Many of the veggies can also be used in a garden salad.

2. Additionally, we bring a "dish to share" such as a salad greens & dressing, cole slaw, potato salad, baked beans, a dessert, whatever. We have about 30 people attending so scale your recipes to feed about 10.

The MOC will provide foil, paper & Plastic ware, grill seasonings. BYOB

3. The idea is to put what you want over your meat, season it to taste, package it up and then cook it on a few grills. The use of grills also needs to be ascertained. We have one, and will probably need at least one more (with propane or charcoal).

So, who's bringing what?

1. Bill & Lisa -- Fruit Salad, Celery, Grill
2. Bingo & Cathy -- Grill
3. Salle & Samuel -- Baked Beans, Mushrooms
4. Bill & Donna -- Diabetic Dessert, Taters & Onions
5. Peg & Jack -- Cole Slaw, Bell Peppers
6. Garnett & Delores Snow Peas & Carrots

Lisa,
We have a Coleman Roadtrip Grill (propane) that can be used. Will have to think a little about what to add food-wise!!

I'll make a diabetic dessert (since I fit in that catagory, too). I'm afraid the only grill we have is kinda small, so we can use ours & won't take up any body else's space. Veggies - I'll bring a couple of bags of potatoes & onions.

Lisa, I'll bring Cole Slaw if that's not already on the list and some Green, red, yellow peppers for the salad. I'll also be happy to help where needed. Thanks, Peggy
