Large slide jumping gear when gong in or out

OK we went on a long weekend trip and when we extended our Kitchen slide it tried to go out but only one side would go out even. I checked and the gear on the hydraulic cylinder side was jumping or skipping. My camper is a 2015 3711FL. Has this happened to anyone else and what is the fix? I can help the other side and get the slice in or out, so I don't think the slide is jammed, I can move it by hand.

gear problem

I have a 2015 3610 and had the same problem on the kitchen slide. I was lucky, it happened the first day while camping a mile from the dealer. I believe the tech replaced the gear BUT he also installed a clamp type device that would not allow the slide to raise up and skip a gear. This device was furnished by Lippert and sent free to the dealer. NOT one problem after that was installed.

I decided to try and tackle the job and find out what is causing this. I found that on the outer slide tube there are four wear tabs two on the inside top and two on inside sides. It appears the wear tabs on the two on top were warn away. See Pic. I have ordered new spur gears and wear tabs. We will see what happens.

Here's a pic of the Outside tube which the wear tabs go into.

My guess is the slide is not adjusted correctly, and or it is binding while moving in or out. I lube everything under there often with either dry lube/silicon/or WD 40 with silicon. Maybe the gear packs are locked up

Does anyone know what Montana uses under the floor, Rollers or Slide Bar?

While I can not speak for you 2015 unit, my all hydraulic 4 slide 2011 3455sa does not have any rollers that I am aware of. I believe they are all wear bars of some sort.
