Wheels south

I may not have time in the AM to post. We leave early on the hunt for SUNSHINE!!!!!

Today while gearing up did a tire pressure check and torque check. This is the first time that 2 tires were slightly low but the eye opener was the 6 lugs that were not up to par. Sure glad I took the time to do this.

Travel will be I-5 south to Sacramento, family visit, on to Bakersfield, HamRad. Yuma, up to Q, and after that who knows. Hope to cross your path out there somewhere.

Dick and Toni

We're leaving tomorrow, too, but heading west from Alabama to Fort Worth. We'll spend a week there before heading south to the Rio Grande Valley. Safe travels to everyone who is heading out in search of the sun and fun.

I hope you all have safe travels during your southward trip. I oh so wish I was packing up and heading south for the rest of this winter. Enjoy the sunshine for us and if you happen to have any extra us folks up here in the north would sure like it if you could send some our way.

Have a safe trip Judy & Glenn and enjoy the grandkids. Our little one turns 3 on Friday. We are enjoying unusually warm weather here. At 6 p.m.(in Bastrop) we still had the door open (70 degrees). We are still trying to see if we can make it to the valley if even for a week or two.Safe travels to everyone on their winter jaunts..

Have a safe trip. I watched the weather for the northern part of Oregon and Washington, and the rain is sure causing some problems. I bet you will be glad to be away from it for a while.

Myrna, it would be great to see you guys in the valley. We're looking forward to seeing our little girls. We'll have another Christmas with them in Fort Worth. Daniel was here on Monday and Tuesday. What an ego booster those grandkids are!

Love those weather reports!

Have a great trip! We are in S. Calif (Seal Beach) until o/a 20 Jan, then headed out sort of towards Yuma, then S. Ariz. Keep us advised on your progress and location(s).
Best,

Safe trip, Dick and Toni. We leave Monday morning bright and early (around 8 a.m.) We will enjoy visiting and dinner with other MOC members each of the three nights we're enroute.
