Why not try the Barney and Betty procedure and have BamBam just raise the entire vehicle? Another smart arse!!! HAHAHA

To Les question I'd say yes when raising the camper from the frame if raising one axle from under the U bolt you'll be ok without the TV.

Picked up a 12 ton bottle jack at Harbor Frieght that is 7" tall the raise the axle with the outer most U bolt. If I think of it I'll make a saddle like Oz has in his link.

Had a flat last year in 100 degree weather. Wife called AAA. They said they'd be there in an hour. Had the tire changed in about 15 minutes. Met the AAA guy at a gas station about 5 miles down the road changing a tire in a passenger car. I use the bottle jack under the spring shackle. When OZ starts making those adapters to sell, I'd buy one (no welding equipment). I also use the Lynx leverlers as a jack stand.
