They also don't seem to do as well on triple axle trailers. The theory is more scuffing when jockeying the trailer in to a parking site. The sidewalls are not strong enough (at least that is the theory).

Like I said before I got 15k out of the Marathons. I know the TPMS alerted me to tire problems before the tires blew up and caused damage to the trailer. I now have G614 on the trailer. Only have 1k on them now, should have around 12k~13k on them by the end of the season with the travel we currently have planned. Hopefully my tire problems are behind me now.

We will have the G6-14's on our 3402 Big sky and they should be just fine on a Rv of that weight.Just a reminder that the G6-14's are not a cure all to tire problems. They may be on the Montana class of 5th wheel but not on a heavier 5th wheels.
