Owner beware

When we bought our rig new in 2015, I had the dealer install 3 solar panels and a inverter. I very months later I had problems with my roof. Once Keystone found out I had the panels install( they said my warranty voided. I explain I had the dealer install them before I took delivery. Did make any difference. Bottom line, love the solar panels but lost the warranty because of them.

Lenny K, thank you for the video. A tree jumped out & hit our 3160RL roof. I was curious how it was going to be repaired.

Roof construction

Remove one of your fan or skylight trim bezels from the inside and you should be able to see what type of material your trusses are made of. You should also be able determine where exactly your trusses are located by taking a measurement on the inside from your fan or skylight to a truss using a reference point such as the mounting screws for your fan, and transferring that measurement to the outside roof.
I hope this helps.
