Knoxville area & Valdosta Area Over Nights?

We will be traveling from Indiana to Florida at the end of January 2008. We will be traveling south on I75 and are planning stops to the south of Knoxville and just to the north side of Valdosta. (Approx areas).

Are there any recommendations for over-night stops?

We hope the weather will cooperate, (no snow or ice or sub-freezing temps)

Funny you should mention this as the wife and I are thinking of doing the same thing. We live in north east Ohio and we were thinking of leaving mid-late January if I can get the Montana dug out of the snow. We were looking at the KOA in Reno valley Kentucky just off I75 $20.00/night full hook up 50 amp pull through and then in Valdosta/Lake park KOA which is also just off I75 just slightly south of Valdosta $31.00/night weekday, $36.00 weekend for pull through full hook up 50 amp and they say that the swimming pool is open all year. Keep me posted.

The Valdosta KOA is nice. All sites are pull through, but the pool is on the other side of the lake from the campground itself. We have stayed there twice and really like it. Would stay there again if we go that way to Fl.
