How about this one.

Heat wave here so went start front air conditioner on our 2018 3920FB. Not good. Ran 10 minutes and breaker tripped. Let sit for a while. Reset breaker tripped again. A mobile RV tech was in the area so got him to check it out. Not air conditioner or breaker. He feels wire from breaker to air conditioner must of been hit by a screw or is pinched or something so it is a dead short now.
Thinking back I did smell a weird burning smell. Thought, or hoped, it was neighbours campfire.
Have appointment with dealership. Hopefully no damage in walls and hopefully no warranty issues.
Confirms PDI should have been more extensive.
Any one else have issues like this?
Cheers Marty

How long have you had it and where is it stored. What the tech said is not unheard of, but fans trying to run with birds nests and mud dabbers nests in there are even more common.

Maybe add a bit of detail to "Not air conditioner or breaker." seems odd if a screw was in the wire that it would run for 10 minutes. I'd go with those pesky mud daubers.

Good points. Tech did take the shroud off and did not mention any obstructions. The trailer is new. Now making me think it is more than a wire short. as it did run for awhile. The trailer is in seasonal site so hasn't been moved since spring. Taking it to the dealership soon so will see.

If the power wire is the problem with a screw or pinched to make contact with the neutral or ground to the hot is a dead short and will trip the breaker immediately. Sounds like an issue with the ac unit in the controls or capacitor.
