I'm not sure I can reach the drain if it's behind the W/D combo. I do connect to our septic line when I run the washer (scared to even try a load without having the gray tank open!).

About that smell: I took the cap off of a bottle of RV antifreeze, and I swear that is the smell we have in our rig. I'm not sure the dealer flushed the lines well before we picked up the trailer on our way to the 7 Feathers rally because every time we turned on a faucet, we got that same odor. The more we ran the water, the less we could smell the antifreeze. But, I haven't run a load of clothes yet, so that could possibly be the source of the problem.

If the washer was winterized and you haven't used it, that might be the source. Kerry

I think that is the problem. We didn't use the washer after we dewinterized it because we took only short trips. The smell is worse in the bedroom than anywhere else.
