Tire pressure/temp

Here's the situation that happened to us today travelling from MA to PA. Some where in NJ my wife looked at the TPMS & one tire was at 119 PSI/123Temp. The rest were around 100# & 80 degrees. I stopped to check the tire; it was hotter to the touch than the others & the hub cap was hot. Couldn't find anything else wrong. So we continued on & the temp & presure start to come back down.
within 30 - 45 minutes the pressure/temp was back to where the other three were. continued on for another 45 -60 minutes with no problems.

What are your thought on what happened. Continuing on to Wash DC tomorrow - will keep an eye on it.
