A place to stay
I have to go to Eugene Oregon for the month of January. My son is taking a NP job there, and I have to stay till he finds housing it may take a month or less. Can anyone reccomend a place to stay under 30 dollars a night. There are not many places in the Camp Books. The Elks lodge is not very good, the fairgrounds do not allow this. I need hook ups.

Here's a list of places from databases I use (Trailer Life RV Parks). I can't help confirm ratings but at least I can provide some info. I do not know availability and I'm sure prices are subject to change.
1. Dexter Shores RV Park - 15 SE of Eugene on Hwy 58. 39149 Dexter Rd, Dexter, OR 97431, 866-558-9777. 28 Full hookup sites ($30 last year), Open all year.
2. Deerwood RV Park - 5 mi S part of Eugene on Hwy 58 near I-5. 35059 Seavey Loop Rd, Eugene, OR 97405, 877-988-1139. 75 Full Hookup sites ($39-$44 last year). Open all year.
3. Shamrock RV & MHP Village - Central Eugene off I-5. 4531 Franklin Blvd, Eugene, OR 97403, 541-747-7473. 30 Full hookup sites ($28 last year). Open all year.
4. Armitage Park Campground - Northern Eugene Corburg Rd near I-5. 541-682-2000. 32 full hookup sites ($25 last year). Open all year.
There are a few other campsites but they are a little farther north. I can list them if these few don't work out. Where is the NP where your son will be working? Maybe my maps and CG info might have something closer.
If you can be more specific about which area around Eugene you'll be, let me know if you need more listings and I'll see what I can provide. Sorry that all prices didn't match your need.

I believe Armitage Park Campground is a County facility and received high reviews here on the MOC last year. I tried to find the postings but I was unsuccessful.

Lou, if you think it could be a month, you might check the monthly rates. They're usually far, far cheaper than the $30/night. And if you actually need less, just go ahead and do some sightseeing and finish out the month. Most parks won't let you just up and leave early without converting you to weekly/daily rates.
Good luck to your son. We enjoyed meeting him at the rally a few years ago.
